400g skirt steak
1/2 cup Asian Market Meat Rub
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp water
1/2 lemon
drizzle sesame oil
vegetable oil


In a bowl mix Asian Market Meat Rub, honey, water and juice of 1⁄2 lemon.
Place the whole piece of skirt steak in the liquid and cover.
Sit in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Heat a frypan to medium hot.
Remove steak from liquid and pat dry, keep the liquid.
Rub steak with vegetable oil and place in frypan.
Turn steak over every 20 secs for 5 mins.
Remove steak from pan and rest for 5 minutes.
Pour marinating liquid into pan and turn to a low heat.
After steak has rested slice it into thin fine strips.
Add steak back into pan with liquid and toss to coat.
Serve hot with a drizzle of sesame oil, steamed rice, market vegetables and fresh fragrant herbs.
